World Record CanoSOARus Flights

Wow! Awesome flight for something that only weighs 0.6 ounces!
The photo above of a flight by Brian Tyndall is indeed a long toss, but it is far from the record.

On March 27th, 1994 inventor Doug Malewicki threw a CanoSOARus out of a plane just prior to jumping out of it himself. Launched at a height of 10,000 feet, the statically stable CanoSOARus glided for over 8 miles!
The official record, set by inventor Doug Malewicki, took place during a skydive.
And nobody else has been crazy enough to try and beat the record!
