5. Jet Engine Related Items

This advanced GE-T58-10 model has sophisticated, computer controlled, variable pitch inlet compressor blades.

Deist Safety Equipment built a special Kevlar bullet proof belt for Bob.   It will be wrapped around the hot turbine section of the engine.  In the near impossible scenario of a turbine section failure, this belt will prevent any shrapnel that penetrates the outer engine casing from contacting Bob or from flying out and hitting spectators.  The Kevlar belt and the entire hot end will be insulated with ceramic fabric insulation materials (originally developed for the Space Shuttle) that can sustain 2,000 degrees fahrenheit.
