ELECTRIC POWERED LAND SPEED RECORD ATTEMPT CAR

The White Lightning's Race Team Director for the record runs was Bob Kubinski.   Bob is Doug's partner and Co-Patentee in both the Robosaurus and CanoSOARus inventions. 

"Scooter" the Back Up Driver

Bob's 7 year old daughter, Desirae, spent the week with Bob out at the Salts for this first round of test driving. Everyone liked "Scooter" so much that we decided to put her on the WRPA Web Site listed as the back up driver for Pat. One of the "Old Time Salt Racers" even loaned her his 200 MPH Club hat to wear for a photo in the WHITE LIGHTNING cockpit. 

Yes, they have my Bio on the WRPA Web Site, but they chickened out and left this picture and the caption I gave them for it out (Oh, Well - more no sense of humor!)
